Well, I don’t know what to really say about the European guidelines for privacy. All I know is every single website I’ve ever entered my email address into has been flooding my inbox about their compliance with GDPR.
Here’s the thing:
If you leave a comment publicly, that means I can see what you post and so can everyone else. I don’t download your information and use it to market to you. If I ever start a newsletter, you’ll have to subscribe to that separately.
AmberUnmasked.com does retrieve statistical information about what search engines or outside links bring visitors here and which pages are clicked, but there’s no tracking of which individual has clicked which page (that I’m aware of).
In a nutshell, if you contact me via the comments or through email, you implicitly authorize me to reply to you.
