Unfortunately, I’m unable to attend the most interesting fashion show I’ve ever heard about but I am participating in a way. The Re-Modeled Gala is a runway show featuring planet-friendly bellydance costume designs, to support environmental awareness and conscious living, and to promote artistic recycling.

~~Visit the Event’s Facebook Page to RSVP~~

This past weekend I sewed for a couple of hours to help a friend who designed a costume for the all-recycling fashion show.I can’t show his complete design but I think it’s ok if I spoil just my part of it especially since he’s a featured designer and not going to be in competition for judging. It’s for a bellydance inspired outfit. I created a cape and waist sash out of old Superman bed sheets. The little jangles at the bottom are notebook binder rings.
