“…I was the sole parent for my son, I had no job, and we were about a week from eating out of a KFC dumpster. It was the worst time of my life. Then, quite literally within six months, I was teaching at a college, I’d met my wonderful girlfriend, and Top Cow signed a contract with me to produce Common Grounds. It was the best time of my life. There may be nothing in this world more wonderful than the next corner.”
