INTERVIEWS WITH CREATORS AND COSPLAYERS FROM SUPERHERO WEEKEND CHARITY EVENT

AMBER LOVE 06-OCT-2014 This episode of VODKA O’CLOCK contains clips of interviews with some of our incredible volunteers at Comic Fusion’s Superhero Weekend. We chatted about why someone would want to dress as a villain. Hey, it’s okay. We welcome the bad guys to our heroic fundraiser. The villains have no hesitation in throwing James Hannon under the bus for being responsible for their gang. It’s not surprising. James helps us out a ton by being our liaison to book the Star Wars 501st troops.

IT’S ALL ABOUT JAMES!

I never mind taking the time to help my friends talk about their charity projects or creative endeavors. James and his friend Johnny Rox have developed a game called Chopper. He also attended GenCon for this site!

NICK MOCKOVIAK

Nick not only donates a sketch to our auctions but he often comes up for one of the days as an in-store featured guest. He’s developed his art into a realism based style using marker coloring techniques. His piece in the auction this year was a Scarlett Johansson Black Widow.

JESSE PARRINO

Jesse is a regular contributor to this site and he has a knack for catching the buzz on new conventions in the region. He’s a huge Doctor Who fan so it’s no surprise that he often cosplays as one of the Doctors. Jesse also recommends checking out a con that’s going to start up in Morristown, NJ called DerpyCon.

JOHN LAFORGE

Another cosplay volunteer, John talked about his preference for smaller shows but he still gets to NYCC. A little bit of chatting about our current comic based television shows.

TOM SCHLOENDORN

Tom’s another of our dedicated artists that pitches in by inking a piece or two, usually penciled by Neil Vokes, and also coming up for one of they days as a featured guest. He has a particular niche of making Lego style character sketches. Tom also took a minute to talk about the love of inking comics and the Inkwell Awards. You can usually find Tom at Pittsburgh Comic Con besides his appearances at Comic Fusion.
