DIGITAL COMICS DONATED!
AMBER LOVE 11-SEP-2014 The plans for this year’s charity event are coming along. So much had to change this year because of conflicting schedules and life changes. First, the best news is that our comic shop volunteer base has grown and we have a wonderful team of comic lovers that have put in a lot time brainstorming, planning, shopping, gathering art from conventions and even reviewing donated comics. Gareth, James, Kevin, Kate, Ally, Jesse, Nick, and all the contributors – thank you so much from me, Stacy and Bill. We couldn’t make the weekend what it is without all the additional help.
Secondly, thank you to all the people that chipped in for the crowdsourcing so I could purchase the USB drives! The timing was unfortunate that I just lost my job and could not follow through with matching all the pledges but with the crowdsourced funds, I was able to get us a set of custom Comic Fusion Superhero Weekend drives from Vista Print.
