A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MODEL

BEING FAT AND MODELING

Because I already Storified this, there’s no reason to elaborate much but here’s what I posted on social media on September 16, 2014.

So…. this was my day. Mind you, this is the only job I’ve ever loved. I liked my last day job but that was a paycheck job. Modeling is something I’m good at (can’t make a living) regardless of my size which I’ve done from 120-160 lbs. Today was not a good day even though I kicked major ass in my poses. It proves someone can be a master artist and a bad teacher; it’s his first (turns out it’s his second or third) year teaching and it shows. I didn’t name the teacher because I’ll be working for him whenever I can since I like the school and like what I do. If it was a private booking, that’d be different. But when I’m working a studio gig, it’s anywhere from 3-25 people.

As I said, the instructor I was working for yesterday wasn’t named. The only name that appears is when someone asked me who the most famous artist I’ve worked for was.
